HCC: CABINET OF ATATURK
AGENDA ITEM: Open Agenda
Following the victory in the Turkish War of Independence, Atatürk and his cabinet faced critical decisions, including the abolition of the Ottoman sultanate (1922), and comprehensive reforms in governance, law, education, and the economy. The committee will engage in crisis scenarios addressing challenges such as nation-building, political opposition, economic reconstruction, and foreign relations, shaping the foundation of modern Türkiye. Delegates must formulate strategic policies to ensure stability while implementing Atatürk’s revolutionary vision for a secular, progressive, and independent state.
