Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students take on the roles of country representatives, diplomats, or officials of international organizations. Participants research global issues, engage in debates, deliver speeches, and collaborate to draft resolutions, aiming to develop skills such as diplomacy, public speaking, critical thinking, and international awareness.
What is the official procedure of MarmaraMUN’26?
The procedure of the conference will be the Harvard Procedure. Further details about it will be announced with our Rules of Procedure.
Where will MarmaraMUN’26 be held?
Our conference will be held on Marmara University, Mehmet Genç Campus. You can check our venue page for further details.
How do I participate?
You can participate by filling out the form which is shown in our website's “Apply” part. You can see the types of applications on the page. Further information about the application process is highlighted in the information boxes and the application form.
What is the official language of MarmaraMUN’26?
The official language of the conference will differ in accordance with the committees, with English and French.
What is the dress code of MarmaraMUN’26?
The required dress code implemented by the Secretariat will be strictly formal western business attire.
How much is the fee for the conference?
You can find information about the fees on our application forms.
Is it mandatory to attend all of the sessions throughout the conference?
No, it is not mandatory. However, you will not be receiving any rewards and if you miss more than 2 sessions, you will no longer be eligible to get the certificate of participation.
When, and how will I receive the approval of my application?
Our PR team will notify the participants via e-mail after the Secretariat’s evaluation of your application.
Do you accept international delegates?
Yes! MarmaraMUN’26 welcomes all delegates from other countries.
Can I apply as an academic team member?
Yes! You can apply as an academic team member by clicking on the “Apply” page, and your application will be evaluated by the Secretariat.
Can I apply as an individual delegate?
Yes! You can apply as an individual delegate or apply as a delegation
with school members.
